Joel Hastings Prize

This prize was established to honor the legacy of Festival founding member Joel Hastings. Given to one Festival participant each year, the award is a non-competitive prize that recognizes pianists whose playing captures the combination of passion, sensitivity, and mastery embodied in Joel Hastings'  performances. The selection is made by a panel of outside musicians, and announced on the final day of the Festival.
