One culminating performance in a thousand year old Monastery.
Looking to take your voice to new and exciting places? During this intensive our singers will explore 4 songs in a range of styles: An Art Song, Early Broadway, Classic and Contemporary Theater. The Art Song (in English) and Early Broadway song (Gershwin, Porter, etc) will be a collaborative work with a pianist from the Piano Festival. This will be co-instructed by Tyley and famed concert pianist David Kalhous. With multiple opportunities to perform your songs for audiences, video, and content capture, this is a chance for your voice will be heard around the world. And to end on a high note, the intensive will culminate in a performance in the famed Brevnov Monastery.
Take time out for your voice—then take off on your own adventure.
After intensive time singing, catch a breather. Singers will be free from the evening on Friday, July 5th through Sunday the 7th to rest or explore. Weekend trips to multiple Central European countries are just a few hours away by train. Rehearse, rest, and retreat—or embark on your European adventure.

This intensive is curated for aspiring artists dedicated to honing their craft, ideally suited for individuals at a university level or beyond. Focused and committed high school seniors (with chaperoned supervision) are also welcome to apply for consideration.
